I am happy to share with you that St Matthew’s Community Council has raised over $6,000 this year from fundraising this year. Our 2025 fundraising goal is $12,000 so we are on right track to achieve this goal. The money we are fundraising has enabled the school to buy two sets of soccer goals and will support the school to purchase to shade sails for the eating area on the Kindergarten/Year 1 playground.
I want to thank everyone in the St Matty’s community who have helped by:
-
volunteering at one of the fundraising events the Community Council has organised including the Bunnings BBQ, Election BBQ and cake stall, Mother’s Day stall, and special sausage sizzle lunch we for the kids last week or
-
baking goods for the successful Election Day cake stall or
-
purchasing some bulbs from the Bulb Drive or chocolates from our current Cadbury Chocolate.
Everyone’s contributions have supported our success this year, so a big thank you.
At last week’s special sausage sizzle we raised $530 and from all accounts, I have heard there were some very happy children who enjoyed their sausages.
Next term we have a range of fun fundraising activities which we hope you and your family will enjoy including a potential Pie Drive, the Father’s Day Stall and a school disco.
We will provide more details about these activities next term. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any fundraising ideas or want to know how you can be involved.
