Our Book Week celebrations have begun with a bang! Local Canberran author, Jack Heath, visited us this week to share his expertise on writing action novels with the Year 3-6 students. One of his favourite parts of the writing process is the editing phase, where he is able to make his writing more interesting to the reader, and we were lucky enough to get some of his tips for editing!

Our Book Week dress up day is fast approaching (August 25^th). A note with more information about this event was emailed home last week. I look forward to seeing all the wonderful book characters at our school on August 25^th!
